Checklist

SHM Cleaning offers a full Checklist to guarantee that your home is cleaned from top to bottom, every time. Our standards are designed to provide you with the best possible outcome. If you have something you wish to have cleaned that’s not on our list, call our office and we will go over all of your unique needs and requests.

Routine Task Provided $75 ( 3 hours minimum )

Kitchen

  • Clean appliance exteriors (interiors upon request)
  • Clean microwave inside and out
  • Remove fingerprints from switch plates, door frames and woodwork
  • Clean tables and chairs
  • Disinfect countertops and backsplash (all items will be moved and replaced)
  • Clean cabinet fronts
  • Scrub and disinfect sinks (dishes cleaned upon request)
  • Vacuum and/or wash floors
  • Clean windowsills (dust blinds upon request)
  • Dust baseboards
  • Empty trash

Bedrooms

  • Make beds (change linens upon request)
  • Clean and dust lamps and lampshades
  • Remove fingerprints from switch plates, door frames, and woodwork
  • Dust picture frames
  • Dust furniture top to bottom
  • Vacuum and/or wash floors (under bed if available)
  • Clean windowsills (dust blinds upon request)
  • Dust baseboards
  • Clean mirrors
  • Empty trash
  • Straighten general items

Bathrooms

  • Scrub, disinfect and rinse tub and shower
  • Disinfect toilets inside and out
  • Clean and shine all chrome fixtures
  • Hang and fold towels nearly
  • Disinfect countertops thoroughly
  • Clean cabinet fronts
  • Scrub and disinfect sinks
  • Vacuum and/or wash floors
  • Clean windowsills if applicable (dust blinds upon request)
  • Dust baseboards
  • Clean mirrors
  • Empty trash

General Living Areas (Dining room, living room, hallways, stairwells, etc)

  • Vacuum upholstered furniture
  • Fluff cushions
  • Remove fingerprints from switch plates, door frames and woodwork
  • Dust ceiling fans
  • Clean lamps/lampshades
  • Dust picture frames
  • Dust furniture top to bottom
  • Vacuum and/or wash all floors/carpets
  • Clean windowsills (dust blinds upon request)

Periodic Task Provided Or Available


Periodic tasks are included for free for our weekly and every-other-week customers. For those clients whom we visit less frequently, these services are available at an additional charge. Some of the tasks that are included are:

  • Clean inside the refrigerator
  • Clean the oven and under the stove top
  • Damp wipe the base boards and window sills
  • Damp wipe the door panels and frames
  • Empty the fireplace
  • Oil wipe the kitchen and/or bathroom cabinets
  • Vacuum the upholstered furniture
